There is, however, another form of hospitality that is more challenging, where one encounters destinies so different to our own, where our availability is more modest, but the bonds we create are so much stronger. EHLsmile projects create these types of bonds.

Since 1996, the members of EHLsmile support hospitality vocational training projects in emerging economies in the perspective of devloping their tourism potential.

Professional training is vital for the young men and women in these countries, and respresents a means to help their social and economic integration. EHLsmile helps to create a pedagogical strucutre that will allow them to find a job and career path, while actively participating in developing sustainable tourism.  “
